The nokia E5 is one of the latest handsets from nokia in 2010, it could be confused with a blackberry. One of the outstanding features on this nokia handset has to be the 5 megapixel camera. Not that it is particularly great but that you are getting a 5 MP camera on a relatively cheap handset. The nokia E5 was released around the same time as the Nokia C6, Nokia C5 and the fabulous Nokia N8, so you may want to also check these out, although you will need a bigger budget for the Nokia N8 with its 12 MP camera. The QWERTY keyboard on the front of the nokia E5 will remind you of a BlackBerry. These type of keyboards are great if you are a heavy texter as each character of the alphabet has its own key, no more pressing a key 3 times to generate one character. Slide out QWERTY’s are better but remember this is a budget phone. The camera on the E5 will also allow you to record video up to 15 fames per second and has a zoom of up to 3 times.
With social media absolutely booming you will be pleased to hear that the nokia E5 supports a Facebook™ client plus gives you status updates of all your contacts. As well as a standard FM radio you can also listen to the radio over the internet. The advantages of this is you don’t need to be in an area where the station you want to listen too is broadcast, however you do need a strong 3G signal. The real breakthrough for us will be when mobile phones come with DAB radios.
