Phones4U Review

Horrific, took money from my account for a phone ordered, when they hadnt even accepted me, no contact whatsoever, had to spend 3 days trying to contact them, lied to me, still have no refund from them and have defaulted on my bills because its taken them so long to pay MY money back for something i never recieved!!!

br />Shocking levels of customer service. Ordered a new contract phone, website stated "guaranteed next day delivery". Only received an initial receipt email. 4 days later I sent them an email asking what was happening, and got the response that I failed the credit check, but they couldn't tell me why. When would they have told me this if I hadn't contacted them!!? Also became aware that my phone wasn't stocked by them anyway!!
That night bought through mobiles.co.uk, and no problem at all. Credit check fine, mobile delivered two days later. DONT USE PHONES4U!!

Tricked into a 24 month contract on a phone that  I've already had repaired, and was told that I had    internet allowance, but actually costs me £1 a day!
Was also talked into getting £10 a month insurance which was very hard to cancel after the first 3 free months. Only needed £2pm cover.

We (family of 2 adults and 3 children) have all bought our phones from phones4U in Blackpool, and found them very good in all aspects. I found there attention to customer service quite refreshing.

Phones4U staff were very friendly when making the sale but when I had problems they simply didnt give a toss.

Bought a Nokia N97, within days it went wrong due to very common software issues they change it and the same issues arise. getting sick of going back and forward to the store i ask if i can change it for an iphone they refuse... i paid my money, the phone was the same cost, the phone they had given me was incapable of reliability and yet they did not care in the slightest...

FINAL WORK DO NOT BUY FROM PHONES 4 U THESE PROBLEMS WILL NOT ARISE AT THE CAR PHONES WAREHOUSE !?

DO NOT BUY FROM PHONES4U, especially from birmingham bullring branch. They con people into buying a product then leave them to suffer the horrendous customer service and after sales.

Phones 4 u are trash....when you do encounter a problem with your phone as I did(It worked for 2 hrs on christmas day then packed up) they weren't intersted! Didn't want to know! They had my money and all they would offer is a repair to a phone that wasn't fit for purpose &it didn't work! Wouldn't use them again...alll their staff are school leavers on minimum wage reeling off the speel from a manual they have sat and revised!

Phones 4u  store in Torquay,

I complained to my solicitor about phones 4u because they sold me a faulty phone on contract and refused  to replace it 24 hours after i signed the contract,

when i returned to the shop to see the manager i was shown up in front of the staff and the public  also, they tried to make fun of me by insulting my inteligence,
T-mobile customer services knew my phone was not working correctly and advised me to return the phone back to the shop,
phones4u tried to say it was me that was faulty and the phone was in perfect order,

i left the phone with them cancelled the contract and have never to this day been to any of their shops,
that incident took place in 2006, so you see people dont complain to the websites because we cant be bothered sometimes,

Phones foru are a disguting place to buy anything.

Phones4U Salesperson was very rude, thinking i was some sort of fool. (Wanted to give zero stars but that is not possible)

Don't go there!!!! Don't set foot in the store or you'll end up coming out with a contract you don't want - and can probably get cheaper direct from the network company. Phones4U customer service is dreadful. having had problems with handset I am told I can oly have an exchange for the same handset - appauling service. Make sure you tell all your friends - go direct to networks. Do not give Phones4U your business.

phones4u ROCK!! 

I bought a Samsung G600 for 75£ there.
They were very friendly and allowed to let me have a little fiddle with the camera on it.
They were the cheaphest to stock it on the high street to stock that phone on Feb09.

Very good , should go back there when i upgrade my G600.

Don't buy from phones4u 

I went into fones4u yesterday and brought a new mobile phone.  The sales person in fones4u assured me I couldn’t get cheaper on the internet.  When I got home, I checked the fones4u website and I saw the same deal with 50 pounds cashback!  The sales person in the fones4u shop has balently lied to me in order to sell me the fone, not sure what I can do about it now though

I recently just got a new U900 Soul from phones 4U.  service was good, please with the phone although I did find it slightly cheaper elsewhere after i had signed the contract.  Still think i would use phones 4 u again though.
