The HTC Touch Diamond 2 will have you stunned by its sleek and elegant good looks not to mention its intuitive controls. What is fantastic about the Touch Diamond2 while it does sport a very large 3.2 inch TFT LCD touch sensitive display screen with 480 x 800 WVGA resolutions , the handset still remains a neat and compact sized mobile phone. The dimensions for the Touch Diamond 2 are 107.85mm x 53.1mm x 13.7mm and has a very respectable weight of 117.5g or 4.15 ounces. One of the impressive things the HTC Touch Diamond2 does is it lets you view all the history of a conversation between a contact, whether it was a text, a phone call or even an email it will al be stored and set out for your viewing. The TouchFlo 3D technology and Zoom bar allow the user to glide through the phones menus with speed and ease. A full functional operating system of Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional is present on the very stylish and elegant Touch Diamond2 mobile phone. For calling time there is over 5.5 hours of GSM time with a stand-by time of 360 hours converted to WCDMA time this works out at 5 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of stand-by time. There is a massive 150 minutes of video calling time but this does all depend on the phone usage.
Why not take some great snap shots with the built in 5 mega-pixel camera function that comes with whole host fantastic imaging features and function enabling the user to take some quality photo's. Recording those special and spontaneous moments via the video recording feature is a definite must especially when viewing back the recorded images in vivid and vibrant colours on the striking display screen. The supported video formats include WMV, ASF, MP4, 3GP, 3G2, M4V and AVI. There is a second VGA CMOS colour camera allowing the pleasure of video calling, this means you can enjoy a real face-to-face more personal phone call with friends and family. However, this can only be done with other users with the same video phone capabilities. This is just another superb feature for users to enjoy using their Touch Diamond 2 mobile phone.
Users can expect to chill out and listen to their favourite tunes with the built in music player system on the HTC Touch Diamond. With supported music file formats including AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, MP3, QCP, WAV, WMAMIDI and M4A. There is also an FM Radio which enables the user to not only listen to their favourite radio station but to keep up to date with all the latest news, travel and weather information. When it comes to the internal memory of the Touch Diamond 2 there is 512 mega-bytes of ROM and 288 megabytes of RAM. This can be increased with a MicroSD™ memory card 2.0 compatible.
For all connectivity options the HTC Touch Diamond 2 supports Bluetooth 2.0 with enhanced data rate with A2DP, HTC Ext USB (that is an 11 pin mini-USB 2.0 and audio jack in one) and Wi-Fi. The Touch Diamond2 operates on quad-band network and covers GSM/GPRS/EDGE – 850/900/1800/1900 with HSUPA availability along with HSDPA/WCDMA – 900/2100. the user can enjoy downloads with speeds up to 7.2 Mbps and up loads at 2 Mbps.
