This is going to be the fourth edition of the series called LG black label. The latest device is still in the planning and development stage and its official announcement is still not confirmed. Rumor is that LG-chocolate black label is planning to incorporate 5 mega pixel camera with Flash Based 3D UI, Multi Touch, Wi-Fi, HSDPA and A-GPS. It will feature 4 inch touch screen with 800 pixels x 345 pixels of resolution. Above all, LG-chocolate black label is planning to feature screen with 21:9 aspect ratio, which will be for the first time on a cell phone.

As per the teaser, where certain snaps of LG Chocolate black label was released, it seems that LG-chocolate black label or LG-bl40 (as expected) will be in the line of LG’s Black Label fashion phones. This is probably going to be a candy bar-like cell phone, not like the slider design of the LG KG800, the original chocolate.

The screen of LG-kg800 chocolate is LCD TFT screen with 256,000 colors. The resolution is 176 x 220 Pixels and the screen size is two inches. Compared to that, the latest chocolate phone from LG is planning to bring in four inch touch screen with resolution of 800 pixels x 345 pixels. The screen of LG-chocolate black label will be having a strange aspect ratio of 21:9.

LG KG800 features Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots) GPRS connectivity as a speed of 32 to 48 kbps whereas the new LG Black Label BL40 is focusing on Wi-Fi, HSDPA, A-GPS, Multi Touch and Flash Based 3D UI. It is also expected that instead of kg800's 1.3 mega pixel camera, BL40 is going to bring in 5 mega pixel camera.
