The LG Dare is a luxurious and attractive touch-screen mobile phone for those who are fashion conscious as it provides style and flare. The featured TFT touch-screen dominated the front of this stylish handset displaying up to 262k colours with screen resolutions of 240 x 400 pixels. This fashionable and sleek looking mobile phone is a fantastic sized handset making for easy management and allows the user to store the phone easily. The measurements for the LG Dare are 104mm x 56mm x 13mm and it weighs a relatively light 107g which is not bad at all. Once the user has fully charged their LG Dare VX9700 mobile phone they can expect up to 4.6 hours of talk time and up to 360 hours of stand-by time. The LG Dare is a 3G capable mobile phone providing the user with high speed connection rates. The Dare appears to be a more basic LG handset compared to the likes of the LG Arena KM900 and the LG Viewty 2.

LG Dare VX9700 Review – Camera & Imaging

A 3.2 mega-pixel camera function is featured on the LG Dare that comes complete with a digital zoom, auto-focus and a flash. There is a selection of camera settings enabling the user to capture the best snap shots possible. A dedicated camera capture key is also featured providing ease of use to the user.

A video recording function is also available that allows the user to capture their own video footage at their leisure. Again there a selection of video settings so the user can set their video accordingly to meet their requirements. A selection of wallpapers and screen-savers are present which enables the user to jazz up their LG Dare screen if they so wish.

There is a built-in music player on the LG Dare but is of a basic standard. The Dare supports MP3, AAC, WMA and AAC+ music file formats. There is no FM radio or any other quality music technologies on this mobile phone making it fairly poor. The LG Dare comes equipped with Downloadable gaming facilities, this will enable the user to pick and choose their own games they wish to download suiting more to the individual needs.

There a number of application tools present on the LG Dare some of these include GPS Navigation, Voice Memo, Voice Dialling, Stopwatch and a Calendar to name a few. Again because the Dare is a basic LG mobile phone there are not an awful lot of high quality applications.

The LG Dare comes with very basic messaging services which include SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging) and Emailing. Even though they are quite basic services none the less users can communicate quickly and easily with which ever messaging service the users chooses to use.

Okay, but seen better

This is one of the best phones released for verizon network. The touchscreen is amazingly accurate especially coming from the voyager which touchscreen sucks in accuracy. So they really improved it when making this phone. Multi-tasking music player is also a plus when your on those bored days with nothing to do besides texting. Some things that need to be worked on are some of the glitches that the phone produces such as the phone restarting when doing something such as scrolling through text messages on the phone but you can fix this by resetting the phone which I found out on LG-Darecom. But I believe the restarting problems can be fixed in a firmware update. But the phone has alot of tricks and features which you might not figure out until a couple of days after you get the phone. I know LG made a site thats basically a picture manual for the LG Dare and it really helped learn the phone also. http://www.cdmacellulars.com/
