LG GW300 review
LG is planning to take mobile technologies a step ahead. First, it displayed the high end ranges of feature rich mobile phones such as the Black Label Chocolate and the LG GC990 Louvre. Both the devices are enabled with state of the art features and hence the pricing would be according to that only. When high end users can expect exceptional concepts from LG then how can the entry levelers be left far behind? LG GW300 is going to be an affordable device with full QWERTY keyboard and other attractive features for the users that want affordability and quality.

During the display of the phone, it appeared that LG GW300 has great resemblance with Samsung Blackjack and Motorola Q, just like another smart phone from Windows Mobile. But, apart from QWERY keyboard, LG GW300 is unique on its own. The device aims at the users who dote of messaging services, whether for business, entertainment or leisure pass time activities. The QWERTY keyboard feature of the phone looks immaculately attractive and its main focus is providing high end messaging facility, whether it is for regular emails or for Facebook updates that is included in the built in application. According to a report, LG GW300’s another handset LG GW550, which is 3D enabled is to secure the supply of LG’s QWERTY messengers in the mid range and the low range. This affordable device of LG GW300 is going to feature quite big display of 2.4 inches landscape QVGA display. Moreover, LG GW300 will work on dual networks such as EDGE and GPRS for data transfers. The user can also transfer or receive data files by establishing connectivity with wire or without wire. The device comes with USB 2.0 that can help the users to send and get data by connecting the device with another compatible device. If transferring data by establishing wire based connection is a problem then the user can switch on the Bluetooth® and hold wireless connection with another device within some ten meters range. LG GW300 comes with Bluetooth® v2.0 with A2DP. However, fancy features like 3G, GPS or accelerometers will not be available to the users of LG-gw300. With no 3G here, it would be a better idea if LG ropes in WI-FI® support.

So far from the display of LG GW300 it is still not clear what type of camera it is going to incorporate. It appears as the phone is going to feature 3.2 mega pixel camera with video recording facilities. There is a chance of installing option auto focus also so that the users can take snaps conveniently in even in the bad light conditions. Nothing can be said with confirmation regarding the camera because LG is planning to make gw300 affordable.

The display of the phone gw300 is very attractive. The casing is made up of brilliant combination of black and blue color. The Screen, major control keys and the QWERTY keyboard appear black in color however there is cool border of Blue color at the edges of the phone and certain keys. 2.4? 240x320 QVGA display also makes a big impression. The overall weight of the phone is going to be around 96 grams.

Even the pricing aspect of gw300 is not disclosed by LG GW300 but according to the information that is being circulated, it is going to be available at lower end. LG GW300 is expected to arrive around the end of the year.

Don't buy it 
This phone is a useless peice of junk. internet is 2g not 3g. Often after powering up it fails to see my sim card, i have to reboot until it does. PC bluetooth software is hopeless, cant find the phone &when it does it cant connect. Battery does not last ANYWERE near as long as quoted even with bluetooth switched off. Video recording on budget cameras are usually poor but with this phone its so bad you wonder why they even bothered. major problems with micro SD cards, either does not detect the card or displays a error when saving to it. JAVA support is crap, wont run virtually any apps including opera and gmail.

Okay, but seen betteri got this phone from asda, for £80 17/oct 2009.
took it back as battery cover did not fit correct.
exchanged for another had it 6 days had to charge it 4 times not very good so took it back and got a refund.
