LG KC550 Orsay - with Motion Sensor Gaming
The LG KC550 Orsay is a sleek and stylish looking mobile phone with its sleek black casing and chrome effect trim. It is a slide design phone that comprises a large 2.4 inch TFT LCD display screen that displays up to 262K colours with 240 x 320 pixels making for bright, clear and colourful viewing. The KC550 does have a solid feel to it and only weighs 110g. The dimensions for it are 96.9mm x 51.4mm x 14.9mm making for a comfortable fit in the palm of the hand. The user will find the navigation tools and shortcut keys are positioned below the screen for ease of use. According to LG on a full charge, the user will have up to 6 hours of talk time and have up to 450 hours of stand-by time. We have not actually tested this theory ourselves.
LG KC550 Orsay – Music Player & Camera
The LG KC550 Orsay has a built in music player that user can really enjoy being entertained while being on the go. The music player supports all the popular music formats and also features a built in FM stereo radio allowing the user to keep up to date with all the latest news and travel information. The user can really customise their KC550 Orsay with their ring-tone as the KC550 supports a selection of tones which include MP3 and 64 MIDI polyphonic ring-tones. The built internal memory of the KC550 is 12 mega-bytes but this can be increased by up to 4G-bytes as there is support for a MicroSD™ memory card.
The LG KC550 Orsay comes with a built-in 5 mega-pixel camera and comes with a Schneider Kreuznach lens that also sports a protective lens cover which is fantastic for keeping it clean and avoiding scratching. There are some terrific camera features on this handset consisting of auto focus, an image stabiliser which is a great asset to have, LED flash and automatic image rotation so no need for the fiddling around adjusting the settings.
There is also a video recorder featured on the KC550 Orsay allowing the user to record moving video footage in the same way a camcorder works. Once the user has recorded their video footage they can instantly play it back and watch it on the large TFT display screen. Again the video recorder comes with some great settings so the user can really make the most of their recordings.
LG KC550 Orsay – Internet & Connectivity
The LG KC550 Orsay works on a XHTML and WAP browser making for a fantastic, fast World Wide Web internet experience. This gives the user access to all news and information that they wish to keep up to date with while being on the go. Connecting to other compatible devices is especially easy as the technologies used are USB and Bluetooth® wireless, both making for superb connections. The KC550 works on a Tri-band network and covers GSM 900/1800/1900 allowing the user to roam through Europe and the majority of the US depending on the network provider.
LG KC550 Orsay – Messaging & Applications
The LG KC550 Orsay has all the usual messaging services that we have all come very familiar with, they include; SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging), Emailing and Predictive texting. The KC550 now presents EMS (enhanced messaging) and Video MMS two great additional benefits. The user can really enjoy video calling with other compatible users with this facility making for a real personal face-to-face phone call.
The LG KC550 Orsay comes equipped with embedded Java games and a motion sensor game called M toy allowing the user really experience and enjoy a lively sensor gaming encounter. The user does have the option to download more games if they so wish suiting to the user’s individual gaming taste, but do check before hand as there maybe charges involved.
