LG KF510 review
The LG KF510 is a fashionable stylish looking phone that is available in a choice of two colours, stardust dark grey and a sunset red. The handset has great similarity regarding the design to the very popular LG Chocolate phone and the LG KE800 Chocolate Platinum. The KF510 is a nice slim design measuring only 10.9mm in depth it feels great to hold in the hand when carrying. The phone is lightweight weighing just 91 grams but the casing gives it that quality feel. It is made from high quality glass with a metal frame giving the phone a real stylish look. The KF510 is a slide design phone which is effortless and easy to open. Accessing the menu and other features is easy by using the external touch sensitive navigation key even when the phone is slid closed.
The display screen is a large 2.2 inches which is clear and the resolution is 240 x 320 pixels and 262,000 colours. The screen can be viewed either when the phone is in the slide open position or slid closed. This wonderful screen has a light sensor meaning it can change lighting level suiting the users surroundings. The touch-sensitive controls are allocated below the screen allowing the user to control the phone with simplicity. The touch-sensitive controls also glow when being used and fade out when not in use. The built in camera function comes with a wide range of great features. The camera is of 3 mega-pixels complete with auto-focus and a flash option allowing great focused pictures and gain good lighting. So the user can take a quick pic whenever and wherever. The video recording facility allows the user to record video clips as well as store them and allowing the option to delete & play the video recording back onto the LG KF510.
The built in internal memory of the KF510 is 16 Mbytes but this can be increased with the purchase of MicroSD™ memory card which can be inserted into the assigned memory card slot. This then will allow much more storage space for music tracks and other downloads. The KF510 is a tri-band network phone covering three GSM networks which include, GSM 900, 1800 and also 1900 and will automatically switch between these network bands. The KF510 handset supports EDGE technology which supplies speedy transfers allowing the user to transfer their music and picture files between various devices. The KF510 also supports Bluetooth® Wireless allowing the user to obtain access to a cable free connection between the phone and other Bluetooth® compatible gadgets. The same goes for the USB port this allows the user to use a USB cable connection between the mobile phone and other compatible USB machines such as, a PC, Laptop or printer.
The KF510 also features a built in music player allowing the user to enjoy their music on the go wherever they may be. An MP3 music playback format is supported allowing the user to control the music playback with ease. Both MP3 and Polyphonic ring-tones are supported and by using the connectivity options you can transfer music onto the KF510 handset and play it back at anytime. The ring-tones and alerts can be changed by the user to suit their individual preferences. The phone also features a built FM radio allowing the user to listen to their favourite radio DJ’s and radio stations on the go. Accessing the web by the WAP browser is simple and provides a great XHTML web experience. The messaging services consist of text messaging (SMS), multi-media messages (MMS) and emailing. Sharing your photos with others has never been as simple to do by using the multi-media messaging function. A multi-media message can either be a photograph or even a video clip sent with a text message and can be sent to any other multi-media compatible phone or an email an address. The LG KF510 really is a great looking mobile phone packed full of easy to use features and functions waiting to be discovered by its new owner.

Okay, but seen betteri have this phone and similar problems.. get randomly sim not inserted and phone just turns itself off.. did it whilst using it and it said low battery then no battery and turned off.. would not reccomend this phone it is a pain in the backside..

Okay, but seen betterThis phone looks so nice. Been nothing but trouble for me. It keeps saying SIM not inserted and switching off and the touch keypad only works when it wants to. Ive even had stripes on the screen. Nothing but trouble, don't recommend this at all.

Okay, but seen betterI have been using this fr a while, but i had it turned off for past 3 days, and when I turned it on, the memory card is not detectable, it says, memory card is not available? Can anyone tell me what to do please?

Good mobile phoneI can't wait for this phone to be released, looks amazing. Shame LG didnt put a 5 megapixel camera in the KF510 though.
