The Nokia 3110 Evolve

The Nokia 3110 Evolve is a 21st century mobile phone as it incorporates 50% renewable innovative bio-materials which is a step in the right direction for sustainability. And with the charger using electricity only when the handset is being charged is an absolute marvel, a genius idea by Nokia, so no more high energy bills by leaving the charger plugged in. The handset is a smart and yet simple design, with no fuss making life less complex. The Nokia 3110 Evolve is complete with an active TFT screen displaying 262K colours with 128 x 160 pixels. The Nokia Evolve has a multi selection of features which include; enhanced voice dialling, again making life that bit more simpler, voice recording and voice commands which are very much self descriptive. The dimensions of the Nokia 3110 Evolve are 108.5mm x 45.7mm x 15.6mm and weighs a very light 87gms making this phone great to fit in the hand and nice to hold. The user can use up to 4hrs talk time and up to 370 hrs of stand-by time on one single full charge.

Music Player & Camera

The Nokia 3110 Evolve comes equipped with 1.3 mega-pixel integrated camera featuring 8x digital zoom. Now, it isn’t one the best cameras at all that is available on the market but all the same works fantastically well for taking that quick personal snap anytime anyplace you happen to be. The Nokia 3110 Evolve comes with full video streaming capabilities.

The Nokia 3110 Evolve works XHTML web browser with OMA 2.0 for secure downloading giving the user peace of mind when it comes to using this feature. The Nokia Evolve is on a tri-band network which covers EGSM 900 and GSM 1800 & 1900 allowing for world wide roaming. Now to the connectivity factor, connecting to other compatible devices is more easy to understand these days especially with the help of the XHTML, USB, Infrared and Bluetooth® technologies. The user can also take pleasure with the ease of data transferring by using EDGE, GPRS, HSCSD elements all making for fast and speedy data transfers.

Messaging & Applications

The Nokia 3110 Evolve comes with all the standard messaging functions that we all know and love and are very much used to in this day and age, including; SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging) and emailing. The email feature will send and receive emails in Java version formatting. The Nokia Evolve comes with an added feature of Xpress audio messaging which allows the user to send short recorded voice and sound clip to other compatible users.

The Nokia 3110 Evolve comes with a range of preinstalled Java MIDP 2.0 games. The Evolve also comes equipped with Adobe Flash Lite 2.0 that user can take pleasure in.
