The Nokia 6300i is a simple and neat slide design mobile phone that comes in a black coloured casing. The 6300i is complimented by its large TFT QVGA 2 inch screen displaying up to a massive 16.7 million colours with 320 x 240 pixels making the display very colourful, clear and bright. The dimensions of the Nokia 6300i are 106.4mm x 43.6mm x 11.7mm and weighs a fairly light 93g making this phone compact and a really a nice sized phone to hold in the palm of the hand. On one single full charge the user can benefit from up to 3.5hrs of talk time up to 14 days of stand-by time.

The built in integrated camera of the Nokia 6300i is of 2 mega-pixels with an 8x digital zoom allowing the user to really get in up close to their chosen subject. The user can also view their captured images a lot more clearly by the full screen viewfinder element.

The user of the Nokia 6300i can really personalise their handset by choosing which ring-tone they have from the array of options of ring-tones which include; polyphonic ring-tones, Mp3 tones, True Tones and MIDI tones. The user can also jazz up their phone with the preinstalled animated wallpapers and screensavers.

The built in integrated music player of the Nokia 6300i supports all popular music formats which include; MP3, MP4, AAC, AAC+, e-AAC+ and WMA music file formats. There is also a built in FM stereo radio allowing the user to not only keep up to date with all the latest news and travel information but they can listen to their favourite artists and music also, whilst being on the go. The built in internal memory of the Nokia 6300i is of 30Mbytes and 512Mbytes but this can be increased up to 4Gbytes with the use of a MicroSD™ memory card allowing a mass amount of storage space for the user music files and downloads.

The Nokia 6300i works on a WLAN, XHTML web browser over TCP/IP making for a great internet web browsing experience which therefore can keep the user in touch and up to date with all the latest news and information whilst continually on the move. The GPRS, HSCSD, EDGE, CSD OMA and DRM elements will all make for a superb internet and connection service. The user can enjoy fast and speedy data transfers with the WLAN, Bluetooth, Local remote/syncML technologies again all of which make for superb transferring. The 6300i network bands are Tri band GSM 900/1800/1900 allowing the user to use the roaming facility. Connecting to other compatible devices is just as straightforward as the Nokia 6300i supports Bluetooth, Mini USB, EDGE, WLAN and HSCSD technologies making for fantastic connections between other devices.

The Nokia 6300i features all the usual standard messaging services that we have come to know and use well which include; SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging),emailing and predictive text but now with the addition of the Nokia Xpress audio messaging service. The Xpress messaging service allows the user to record a short voice clip and insert it into a message and send it to other compatible users with the same service. The emailing service provides the user to keep in contact with office whilst away from work place or home.

The Nokia 6300i comes with preinstalled Java games allowing the user to keep them self occupied and entertained keeping boredom at bay. So being bored can now be a thing of the past. The user can also download more games if they so wish to suit their own individual gaming taste.

Life can be made a little more easier for the user with all the preinstalled applications that come with the Nokia 6300i which include; Nokia Maps, preloaded Maps, Flight Mode, an organiser with calendar, a to do list these are all but to name just a few. But are there for if a dilemma may occur in every day-to-day life.

The Nokia 6300i is all what you would come to expect from Nokia, it’s simple, uncomplicated and compact little entertainment device that anyone could and would use!

Brilliant little phone except for the poor battery life if you start accessing the internet. Overall though really pleased.
