Brilliant phone. Very strong and easy to work. The camera is great but the only downside is the flash isnt that bright.
Rating: out of 5.
Had to revise the above glowing testimony down quite a lot I'm sorry to say.
Problem 1: The pre-installed demo games, are protected system files so you can't delete them when you want to get rid off them, which is stupid.
Problem 2: By far the more serious, the bluetooth has a fault. When you go to switch it on, it displays it is doing so, but then just sits there, doing nothing and eventualy needing a reset.
This seems a common problem according to the Nokia forum, so maybe a design fault with the phone or software? Either a way, it spoils an otherwise good phone and means it can't be recommended until Nokia sort the problem out.

Had the phone for 3 days and it is an excellent all round phone fron Nokia. Really easy to use and the camera 5m takes a brill photo.
Rating: out of 5.
Had this phone for a few days now and love it.
It is slim, and in my opinion the chrome makes is stylish although you can get it in black.
Well I have had the N95 for the past 15 months and to be honest this phone for me is like having my cake and eating it. Some of the features of the N95 I loved. For example, 5mp camera. Great. But I did not like the way I pressed the shutter button, and had to wait 3 seconds for the picture to take. The 6700 does not have this problem and is instant.
With the N95 I did not like the way how I slid it open and again had to wait for a response. Again, this problem is no longer there with the 6700.
And finally, having my ear singed by the N95 when charging was a bit tiresome. This has not been a problem with the 6700 at all although I did feel it getting quite warm one time when not in use, but I have no idea why.
The 6700 is a cheaper phone than the N95 but has all the facilities I need that the N95 had and appears to run off the same style program.
It is quicker, slimmer, smarter and once you g get to grips I believe a lot easier to use.
I can use facebook, I can use hotmail and also use youtube as well but that is not the point.
I dont want a computer. I want a phone, a phone with a couple of gadgets maybe, but a phone nevertheless. And this is as good as I have had in many a year.

Had the Nokia 6700 for a couple of weeks to replace a well regarded 6300. I think the 6700 is an excellent handset . I expect consumer take-up of this phone will massive.
It has a really substantial quality feel and a nice weight.
I like ultra fast HSPDA web access where available. The built in Mini-Opera browser is already good and the fast connection makes it a pleasure to use even with the small screen. I would think you would need to be on an inclusive web access tariff though as you could get carried away easily.
The camera is much improved on the 6300. Though no replacement for a purpose built quality digicam, it shoots good 'snaps' which wont be shamed when you print them out as (A6) photos.
A-GPS. For me this is the real winner. Satellite lock is fast if assisted by the web and further maps can be downloaded via your PC for free from Nokia. (Downloading direct to the phone is possible, but could be hugely expensive, oi is not normally a good idea.) This is a hugely useful addition to the phone that I will use a lot.
All in all, a worthy successor to the 6300 and a winner for the price point. Wi-fi access would have been nice to have and a 3.5 audio connector, but maybe the next version will have those too. 6900 perhaps?

Got to give it a five star rating..
I had been waiting for Nokia to come out with a phone that could even begin to be as good as my trusty 6233. This is it.
It is much slimmer, the all metal cover gives it a sense of class, the toys, should I ever bother using them, (I also have an iPhone) seem ok with 5mp auto focus, A-GPS etc, but the reason I like it?
It is a good phone. It has a feature that most tend to overlook. The voice clarity is good, with a system to enhance your voice and cut out background noise. The signal strength shows more bars in the same place at home than my last phone and once the battery has been recharged and drained a couple of times it has a good battery life.
Also, my car uses more of it's features once paired than with my last phone, including auto updating the phone book.
Yep, 5 stars. (I gave my iPhone 4..)
