The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism is a breath-taking piece of equipment set to dazzle the market. The casing of this stunning phone is simply beautiful with the front of the handset looking funky and stylish, the back of the phone is a work of art, and that’s literally as it was designed by the artiste Frederigue Daubal and topped off with a Sapphire Crystal 5-way navigation key, simply elegant. The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism is complemented by its high-tech 2.0 inch OLED screen that displays 240 x 320 pixels and with 16M colours makes the screen vibrant and vivid and a joy to the eye. The Nokia Crystal Prism also features 49 colour mats to choose from so the user can really add that personal touch to the key-mat. The chosen colour for the key-mat will also pulsate to the rhythm of the sound. The user can even choose a wallpaper to suit the ambience of this graceful and elegant phone as well as the mood of the user. The dimensions of the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism are 112mm x 45mm x 11.3mm and weighs only 101.0g, making this phone very cute, neat and easy to hold in the palm of the hand and is quite light too. The Nokia Crystal Prism will allow the owner to use up to 3hrs of talk time and up to 240hrs of stand-by time on a single full charge.

Music Player & Camera

The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism is equipped with an integrated 2 mega-pixel camera with 8x digital zoom and auto-flash, it is certainly not the best cameras available on the market but none the less it is still great for taking a quick memorable snap anytime any-place. Again, the same with the video recorder, once a video clip has been recorded it can be played back in QCIF, 3GPP and MPEG-4 image formats.

The integrated music/media player allows the user to be musically entertained whilst on the move. The music player does support all the popular music formats which include; MP3, AAC and eACC+ with up to 9hrs of playing time. The Nokia 7900 supports ring-tones, available are 64 MIDI polyphonic ring-tones with MP3, AAC and video formats. As a great added bonus to the Nokia 7900 it also features 2 new static and living wallpapers that are designed by the lovely Frederique Daubal. The built internal memory of the Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism is a hearty 1GB allowing a mass amount of storage space for all the users music files and downloads.

Internet & Connectivity

The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism works on a XHTML & HTML multimode web browser complete with WAP 2.0 allowing for a fantastic internet browsing experience, especially for those who are always on the move and like to keep up with the latest news and information. For those who love their downloading, this will be complemented by the OMA and DRM 2.0 making for a secure downloading encounter. The Nokia Crystal Prism covers Quad-band networking such as; GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 and WCDMA 850 – 2100 MHz allowing for world wide roaming and allows for the bands to automatically switch to the best available network. Now to the connectivity factor, connecting to other compatible devices is simple and straight forward, it can be done with the Mirco USB with USB 2.0 or the Bluetooth® wireless technology. The user will also have ease with high speed data transferring using the WCDMA, EGPRS and the CSD elements.

Messaging & Applications

The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism features all the usual messaging functions such like; SMS, MMS( Multi-Media messaging ) and emailing allowing those to stay in touch with the office whilst on their travels. There are two great additions to the messaging functions which are audio messaging so the user can record a voice message and send to other compatible users and Xpress audio messaging allowing the user to record a spontaneous personal voice clip, again to other compatible users via the MMS function.

The Nokia 7900 Crystal Prism comes with a selection of Java MIDP 2.0 preinstalled games allowing the user to keep them self highly entertained. The capability to download more if desired is supported giving the user the choice to suit their gaming taste. The Nokia Crystal Prism comes complete with a great assortment of entertainment all condensed into just one piece of equipment that can always be right in the hand and includes all the day-to-day personal tools like; a count down timer, calendar, notes and an alarm clock only to name a few.
