Nokia E63 Review – Work & Play

The Nokia E63 is one superb mobile phone, its stylish and really does allow its users to work and play whenever and where ever it matters. The E63 is very elegant looking but with flair so very fashionable and comes available in a choice of two coloured casing which include Ultramarine Blue and Ruby Red which ever is more appealing to the user. The Nokia E63 mobile phone operates on a Quad-band network and covers EGSM-850/900/1800/1900 and WCDMA-900/2100 enabling the user the full function of their handset whilst abroad. Connecting to other compatible devices is straightforward as the E63 uses Bluetooth 2.0 and full-speed Micro USB technologies.

Nokia E63 - Music/Media Entertainment

The Nokia E63 features a built-in music/media player and supports AAC+, eAAC+, MP3 and WMA music file formats. There is a built-in FM Radio with RDS along with audio streaming formats which include RM and eAAC+. The Nokia E63 also supports Nokia Music Store, Nokia Music Manager, Nokia Podcasting, Synchronise music with Windows Media Player a Navi Wheel support and Voice Aid. All of these amazing technologies provide the user with a superb mobile music listening experience. The user can make their Nokia E63 sound and look unique with the Customisable Ring-tones, Profiles, Video ring-tones, Talking ring-tones, Themes and Home Screen content for business and personal modes. The E63 mobile phone has 110 mega-bytes of built-in internal dynamic memory with a MicroSD memory card slot to support hot swappable with a maximum of 8 gigabytes of memory.

Nokia E63 - Camera & Imagery

There is a built-in 2 mega-pixel camera feature on the very sophisticated Nokia E63 mobile phone with image formats of JPEG and EXIF. The handset also features CMOS Sensor, Digital Zoom, LED Flash with flash modes of automatic, Off and Forced with a flash operating range of 1 metre. The Focal length of the camera is 4.5mm with the Focus range 10 cm to infinity. The user can capture their snap shots in either Still, Sequence, Self Timer and Video Capture modes. There are also a selection of Colour Tone modes, White Balance modes, an Active Tool-bar, View-finder and Share Photos with Share on Ovi.

Video Imagery – The user can use the main camera to record video footage with a digital zoom and the video recording file formats include 3GP, MPEG4, Codecs, MPEG4-VSP and H.263. There are many many settings for the video recording facility for the user to gain the best quality with their footage. There is a maximum of an hour for a video clip, RealPlayer and Video Streaming plus Audio recording formats in AMR.

Nokia E63 - Messaging Services

The Nokia E63 comes with the following messaging services SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging), Text-to-Speech message reader, Instant Messaging with presence enhanced contacts, Cell Broadcast and Distribution list for messaging as well as Emailing.

The Emailing service supports IMAP4, POP3, SMTP and Mail for Exchange protocols as well as Email Attachments, Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email, Easy Email Set-up and IMAP Idle support. All these features really broaden the many capabilities of this service to the user.

The user can chill out and keep fully entertained with the gaming facilities supplied on the Nokia E63 mobile phone. The user can choose from a selection of games as Java MIDP 2.0 are supported.
