Nokia E72 is a high end business handset that immaculately saves power. In the device, Nokia E72, you can surf web for more than five hours without any interruption from power shortage. Using headphone, you can listen to music for more than thirty two hours, which is huge. Video playback can be enjoyed for around eight hours. If the GPS navigation is on, then the device can work for more than six hours. Normally, it provides more than twelve hours of talk time and in Wi Fi standby mode it can be operated for more than one hundred and ten hours and there is no need to charge battery during that usage. Nokia E72 uses Li-Po 1500 mAh (BP-4L) battery.

Nokia E72 - The look

Nokia E72 is a QWERTY device with dimension of 114 x 58 x 10 mm. The screen size is 2.36 inches which is quite good in a QWERTY handset. The resolution of this TFT screen is 320 x 240 pixels and it displays 16 million colours. The optical track pad is positioned perfectly in the center and there is a five way scroll key also. Nokia E72 is available in three shades, which are Zodium Black, Metal Grey and Topaz Brown. All the colours look stunning. The positioning of the keys is higher than E71 and it is more comfortable to use. The built of the phone is also very strong and it is long lasting. Nokia E72 weighs 128 grams.

Video photography can be done at VGA@15fps and there is a secondary video call camera also.

The music player of the phone is easy to handle and the quality of music is also good. You can easily store the songs under different categories such as albums, artists, genres, etc. The music player is capable of playing different files such as MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, AAC and M4A. Nokia E72 also comes with FM radio feature and it includes stereo FM radio with RDS and visual radio. With high end memory support, you can store numerous music files and video files for fun and entertainment. The internal memory of the phone is 250 megabytes with 12 megabytes of RAM. Memory can be expanded up to 16 gigabytes with microSD™ (TransFlash).

Nokia E72 - Important Features

The device runs on Symbian operating system 9.3 version, Series 60 v3.2 User Interface. The CPU of the phone is made up of ARM 11 600 MHz processor. It supports different browsers such ad WAP 2.0/xHTML, and HTML. High speed browsing is possible with phone as it uses HSDPA at 10.2 Mbps and HSUPA at 2 Mbps. In addition, EDGE, GPRS, HSCSD and Wi FI are also featured in the device. E72 supports quad bad GSM network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 and also HSDPA network 900 / 1900 / 2100. High speed A2DP EDR connectivity is also supported with the excellent Bluetooth® connectivity options. Connections can be also established with high speed USB as it features v2.0 microUSB port. Other prominent highlights include digital compass, document editor, Push to talk, Flash Lite v3.0, organizer, printing, etc.
