Samsung F480 Video Review Samsung F480 Deals (1357)The Samsung F480 3G phone is a very classy and sophisticated piece of equipment. The F480 has a touch sensitive screen displaying an array of stunning colours making this phone such a joy to use. The high colour display is of 240 x 320 pixel screen resolutions and the screen size is a large 2.8 inches. The beautiful smooth black, casing with a hint of chrome on the trim really makes this handset a cool and very fashionable phone to own. The weight of the Samsung F480 is 91 grams making it really light and nice to hold, the dimensions are 95.9mm in height by 55mm wide by 11.8mm in depth making it an ultra thin sized mobile phone. The F480 does come from the same family as the Samsung F490 and has a similar design to that of the Samsung P520 Giorgio Armani.
The Samsung F480 has a built in 5 mega-pixel camera feature that will turn this phone into a much loved and useable camera phone. The camera does feature auto focus making sure a very clear and defined photo will be taken. The built in flash will ensure that photos taken in more dull and dimly lit environments will produce a brighter photograph. The camera has built in stabilizer so even if the user has an unsteady hand the photo will be very clear and steady. The F480 also features a video recorder allowing the user to record moving video footage and the user can play back and watch what they have just recorded. Again, the video recording feature also has the stabilizing facility making the footage recorded not to be wobbly or unsteady. The F480 has MPEG4 format along with H264 and H263 video formats. The video editing functions will allow the user to edit and enhance all the video footage that they have recorded on this very sophisticated mobile phone.
Listening to music can be enjoyed on the F480 as it features a great music player and a built FM radio. This comes complete with an RDS feature, which can be available from the main menu and is also supported. The music formats that are supported on this fantastic phone include; MP3, AAC and AAC+. Downloading and transferring music could not easier by using the connectivity options and the Internet. The user can manage and control their music by using the easy to use touch screen controls. The user can also download games onto the Samsung F480 which can then suit their individual gaming taste and needs.
The F480 performs on GSM network which covers GSM 900, GSM 1800 and GSM 1900 that will instinctively switch between networks providing the best to use. The built in EDGE technology will provide the user with a high speed data transfer rate that will work up to three times faster than GPRS transfer rates. The Samsung F480 has support for Bluetooth® technology, this comes complete with A2DP capability which will allow the user to enjoy a great wireless connection experience between the phone and other compatible devices such as a PC, laptop, printer and even a set of Bluetooth® headphones. The USB connection point will allow the user to connect the handset to other devices using the USB cables connection. The 3G technology will allow the user to enjoy high speed Internet transfers and downloads and a multi-tasking capability as well as 3G video calling to other compatible 3G users.
Connecting to the great World Wide Web is fantastic by using the built in browser and enjoy HTML and XHTML surfing the web experience. The built in text messaging service includes a messaging service allowing the user to stay in touch with all their contacts and the MMS multi-media messaging service provides the user with being able to send pictures, photos and moving video clips to family and friends. To summarize the Samsung F480 is a very stylish and fashionable mobile phone packed with all the latest high quality features and functions making the owner of this phone proud to be using it.

Okay, but seen betterhow the hell do you put music in this fone? i tried all the samsung pc studio crap but it doesnt work. i prefer my ipod

Good mobile phoneUnfortunately having 5M pixel isn't enough to get good picture quality. You need good optics as well. The image result from this camera is far worse than that of most 2M pixel cameras. This camera is on the border to totally unusable. The lack of leans cap also make it worse as any dirt will make the already soft blurry images even worse. The bad photo result, is especially sad, as the camera otherwise is very well equipped in terms of technical gizmos such as zoom, stabilizer, automatic face detection, the camera userinterface is actually very similar to that of my Lumix 10M pixel camera, but unfortunately it lacks the leica leans. If you need a good phone/camera I would go for Nokia N95 instead. Other than that the phone is very nice to use. It is easy to scroll through list and menus using only your fingertips. If we should be picky, it is sometimes hard to know if there are more hidden scrollable items in a submenu. There should be some kind of arrow at top or bottom of hidden parts of a menu to indicate that there are more items. It took me quite a while to realize that the calculater had all sorts of nice scientific functions and not jus square root, and a few more because of this. Speaking of the calculator, it would have been nice if that had been available on the widget screen as well, or even better that all applications could be widgetized
