Samsung have created quite a wave in the mobile market with its device, known as the galaxy. Now, it is expected to bring the upgraded version of galaxy and the name of the phone is Samsung Galaxy Spica. The model number of the phone is i5700 and it will be the second Android mobile phone from the house of Samsung. Few images of the mobile phone got leaked on the internet and from those images it is known that Spica is connected with Bouygues Telecom, which is a French carrier. Hence, it is expected that Samsung Galaxy Spica will be released by Bouygues Telecom in the French market at first.

The Fact Known so far

There is a speculation from certain corner that the images of Samsung Galaxy Spica displayed over internet are not the final design. There will be certain modifications when the phone releases in the market. There will be another two short cut keys right below the display and these keys will be used for accessing Home and Web. Samsung Galaxy Spica will be loaded with WI-FI® and GPS receiver and at the same time it will feature 800 Mhz CPU like the omnia-II. This will enable the enable the device to perform better than the 528Mhz CPU that is featured on the older version of the phone, i.e the original galaxy device from the house of Samsung. Thus, it is going to work on WI-FI® and GPS receiver and at the same time it will also feature some excellent upgrades.

The display of the phone also features accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate.

Memory wise samsung-galaxy is also impressive. It features 8 gigabytes of internal storage and 128 megabytes of RAM. There is a card slot too for expandable memory and the memory can be expanded up to 16 gigabytes. Such memory feature is quite attractive as the user can store loads of music, videos, images and other files. It is to be seen whether Spica retain similar memory feature or provides any upgrades in this aspect also. Certain new images of Samsung Galaxy Spica are revealed and it disclosed that the device features two buttons on the display that were not featured on the earlier pictures. These two buttons are Web and Home button. It seems that the Galaxy Lite will be featuring only 1 GB of internal storage along with microSD™ slot.

Now it is to be seen whether it carries AMOLED screen like the original Galaxy or not.
