The Samsung M3200 Beat s is the latest addition to the Samsung Beat music range of mobile phones. The M3200 Beat is a compact slide designed mobile phone and definitely catered for all music lovers. The M3200 is predominantly grey in colour but the user can choose from an orange colour effect or purple that highlight sections of the handset. The Samsung M3200 Beat s mobile phone comprises a 2 inch TFT screen displaying 262k colours with screen resolutions of 240 x 320 pixels for clear and colourful viewing to the user. The M3200 Beat is neat and compact with dimensions of 96.5mm x 46.9mm x 16.9mm and weighs a respectable 101g ensuring a comfortable fit in the palm of the hand. The call time available on this very stylish mobile phone is a mass 7 hours of talk time depending on how much the user uses any of the fantastic features on offer and with up to 400 hours of standby time.

There is also a built-in sensor (Tilt to Mute Shake Control) that will allow the user to mute their music just by tilting the phone, which is a superb feature when the user has been interrupted. The built-in FM radio features RDS technology with a radio recording facility that enables the user to not only listen to their chosen radio station but to also record it. The music recognition supported by Shazam technology will allow the user to find the artist performing a song, the name of the song and the album of which it is from just from a short recorded clip of the track, this can all happen within moments. The Samsung M3200 Beat s supports a 3.5mm audio jack port enabling the user to connect a suitable set of headphones for a more private listening encounter. The user can download a ring-tone suiting more to their individual taste, or choose a tone from either the MP3 tones or Polyphonic ring-tones that come available on this pumping mobile phone. The M3200 Beat s comes with only 72 mega-bytes of built-in internal memory but the user can add a MicroSD™ memory card and increase the memory up to a staggering 8 gigabytes. This will increase the users storage massively and enable the user to either listen to up 2,000 digital songs, to store more than 5,000 high-resolution pictures or up to 5 hours of high-quality MPEG4 videos.

Don't buy it 
This wasn't the phone I had originally wanted, but I ended up with it 8 months ago as I had lost mine and needed one quick. I didn't like it to begin with but have learned to love it up to this point.
About a fortnight ago it messed up with some of my messages and I didn't get any for a day, then they all came in at once. I thought fine, it's a glitch for today.
Then the sound stopped. I could no longer hear what people were saying on the phone, and had to have everyone on speaker phone. I'm mainly a texter so i learned to live with this and moved on.
Then the screen started to die, followed one by one by all the buttons. Have now given up on the phone altogether, it was a waste of good money and time and I have now lost all of my old contacts numbers and old messages :(
Long story short, don't buy this phone, it'll break. I was warned over the summer but I did not take the advice. Please heed mine.

Good mobile phoneThe Samsung M3200 is a pretty nice phone and is reasonably cheap. The keypad is also very nice to use as the buttons are a good distance apart and the touch is good.
**To change the message tone you need to edit the profile.**
Now for some annoying flaws, the video quality even on best is terrible and in my opinion should be the lowest setting. You cant full screen photos when viewing saved ones but you can videos, strange. Not being able to set different message tones for different people is annoying. The signal strength isnt great. HOWEVER I do not know if other similar priced phones would be better.

Great phone with an excellent music player. Add a 8Gb memory card and you have a top-notch media player that's as good as any dedicated MP3 players, plus more - built in stereo speakers, motion sensor, camera &faultless phone. Stainless steel case makes it feel much more expensive than it cost. Excellent battery life. Only complaint - can not change the assignment of "O2 Active" to one of the front buttons - I keep pressing it by accident and going on-line.

Okay, but seen betterWill anybody please tell me how to retrieve my pics. I bought this o2 pay&go phone and put in my monthly sim which I had in my o2 U600. The lady in the shop said this was fine. everything works great but when I try and retrieve a pic it tries to retrieve it but comes up ' ! unknown subscriber'. Please help!!

Okay, but seen betterThis is such a good powerful fone. It is very similar to the G600, but a lot faster. It holds 300 text messages in the fone and 50 on your sim. I have an 8GB card inserted, and have had no problems whatsoever. There is an option to bluetooth items straight into the memory card. You CANNOT personalise the text message alert tone, but it does give you a choice to put it on repetition if you missed it the first time round. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The price is brilliant as well.

I WANT ONE!! I wanted a simple, calls and messaging handset, and got so much more! the handset is ergonomic, brilliant to hold, very very well weighted and like all other samsungs, simple to use. some of the functions of the phone appear gimmicky at first, such as if the phone rings, you turn it over to silence it, so you do not get interrupted but its amazing just how handy this actually is. Other functions are Bang and Olufsen speakers that offer brilliant clarity of sound, and the the finish of the actual phone is very classy, and all for a brilliant price. I would recommend this to anyone.

I WANT ONE!! Just bought this phone and I am very impressed with it. Got fed up of the lack of memory on my motorola slvr and no memory cards around that actually work. The music player is excellent and the other features very easy to use. I recommend this to anyone on a budget as its very good for the price.

I WANT ONE!! i bought this phone today for a steal of a price for under 60 pounds the sound quality is excellent and even better in the head phones at least you get a proper set there are loads of things to keep you busy and you can even record music from the FM radio wich i think is nice the overall feel of it is great aswell you really feel like your holding a mobile phone in your hands i would recomend this dont hesitate buy you wont be disapointed

I WANT ONE!! This mobile phone is not triband its quadband and also it does not play mpeg4, this aside the phone is very good for the price and deleivers all what is looked for in a phone today, the speakers are amazing and produce loud and very clear music everything about the phone is well made and doesnt feel cheap unlike some other phones, the menu system is simple and easy to use and also the phone matches those sony walkman's as it has a shake and shuffle and also the phone had a turn to mute where you turn the phone over to mute all music etc. The camera is average but if your wanting a phone with a good camera then just buy a camera, I think this phone is extremely good for it capabilitys and it is on sale at the 02 shop for £58.71 so go and buy one i recommend it :D
