Samsung S9402 Ego – dual sim with liquid metal
The Samsung S9402 Ego is the latest phone in the Duos range that can support two sim cards at the same time and also has a lot of unique features that are exclusive to the phone including the ringtones and menu. This is a tough handset which incorporates the latest alloy technology in the form of "Liquid metal". This newly developed metal is tougher than titanium and extremely light, your phone will be well protected for the times when you drop it, unless that’s into the bath! The S9402 Ego has a 2 inch OLED screen with 262,000 colours and screen resolution of 240 x 320 pixels for clear and colourful viewing. Dimensions of the phone are 115mm x 48mm x 16mm and weighs 140g so is quite a solid phone but sits neatly in your hand. The colour of the Ego handset is black with the liquid metal being silver. You can get up to 3hrs 30mins talk time and 280hrs standby time on your S9402 Ego.
Samsung S9402 Ego – Camera & Imaging
Enjoy taking photos with your S9402 Ego as it has a built-in 5 megapixel camera which has imaging features that will make sure you take the best possible picture. These features include an image stabiliser which helps stop blurred photos by re-adjusting the picture, plus a LED flash and auto focus. You can make your own photo albums and have your favourite photo as your wallpaper. Make videos on your Samsung Ego with the video recorder and watch them back and videos that you have been sent using the video player.
Samsung S9402 Ego – Internet & Connectivity
Access the internet on your Samsung Ego with WAP 2.0 and xHTML browsing and the phone supports EDGE and GPRS for connecting to the internet, so you can shop online or find out the latest news and gossip. You also have Bluetooth® 2.0 supported by A2DP and USB, making connecting to other compatible devices such as a laptop or another phone quick and easy. With the dual sim your phone supports two Sims at the same time which means you can have one for business and one for pleasure. One sim supports Tri Band GSM 900/1800 and 1900 and the second is Dual Band GSM 900 and 1800 so you can use your phone abroad but may be a bit limited to what countries it works in.

You can keep in touch with friends or work in a variety of ways as the S9402 supports SMS, MMS and EMS messaging and also email, these are fast ways of contacting people if you don't have time to make a phone call and with predictive text it is easier too. There is a document viewer so you can open and read the contents of a file sent from a computer or transferred using USB technology. Some of the application tools on the Ego are voice memo, built-in hands free speaker, alarm clock and call log.
Samsung S9402 Ego – Music and gaming
The headset has a built-in music player with MP3 and AAC formats and has music storage so you can download and store the latest songs and Albums on to your phone. As well as that there is also a built-in RDS FM radio so you can keep up to date will news or listen to a radio station that suites your taste in music. You can only use the headphones provided with the phone as they are the only ones that fit but with Bluetooth® stereo you can use wireless ones. You can customise your phone with a choice of ringtones; these are polyphonic ringtones and MP3 ringtones and also the unique ringtones that have been made just for the Samsung S9402 Ego. If you like playing games on your phone then choose one you like from the preloaded games. Store all your Music, ringtones and photos on the built-in 1Gygabyte of memory or up to 8Gygabytes using a MicroSD™ memory card as the phone has a memory card slot.
Samsung S9402 Ego – Summary
This phone is very pricey coming in at around £1200 and considering it has no touch screen, 3G or WIFI are you just paying for the "Liquid Metal"? Well it is a good feature and you do get the unique ringtones and menu to name a few, and also the camera and music player are good quality and being a dual sim phone you can use it as a work phone and a personal phone so you wouldn't need to buy two phones which can't be bad.
