Samsung i560 – 3G Slider phone

The Samsung i560 is a very attractive chic slide design mobile phone. It is a Symbian phone using OS 9.1 series 60. It comprises a black and silver casing with a nice large 2.4 inch TFT screen displaying up to 262K colours with 240 x 320 pixels making the screen very clear, bright and colourful making for excellent viewing. The screen can be viewed either when the phone is in it’s slid open position or slide closed. The dimensions of this very cool looking phone are 103mm x 51mm x 16mm and weighs 111g making it compact and great to hold in the palm of the hand when making and receiving calls. On one full charge the user can use up to 4.5hrs of talk time and have up to 360hrs of stand by time. The Samsung i560 is pretty much the same to the Samsung i550 just in a slide design form.

Samsung i560 – Music Player & Camera

The built in music player of the Samsung i560 supports most popular music formats including; MP3, AAC, AAC+, OGG, ASF and WMA formats. The i560 also comes equipped with a built in FM stereo radio allowing the user to listen to their favourite music artists as well as radio stations whilst on the go. The user can really personalise their Samsung i560 by their ringing tone and the Samsung i560 comes with a nice selection of ring-tones which include; 64 polyphonic ring-tones and MP3 tones. The user can download more ring-tones if they desire making for an even bigger selection choice. The built in internal memory of the i560 is of 150Mbytes but with the option of using a MicroSD™ memory card as the phone supports a memory card slot. With the increase of memory the user can store more music files and downloads onto their phone.

The built integrated camera of the Samsung i560 consists of 3.15 mega-pixels with a built in flash. The user can also use their handset as a video camcorder so the user can record moving video footage and play it back on their lovely large 2.4 inch display screen to view what they have just recorded instantly. There is a second QCIF camera featured also for allowing the user to make 3G video calls making for a great personal phone call as both people can view each other on the display screen, these calls can only be made with other compatible users with this capability.

Samsung i560 – Internet & Connectivity

The Samsung i560 works on a WAP 2.0, XHTML and HTML web browser allowing the user to have a great World Wide Web internet experience providing the user with keeping up to date with all the latest goings on with news and travel and even entertainment whilst being on the move. The user can enjoy high speed data transfers by using the EDGE technology. Connecting to other compatible devices is straightforward as the phone supports Bluetooth® A2DP and USB capabilities making for superb connections. The Samsung i560 works on a Tri band network which covers GSM 900/1800/1900 which provides the user with the roaming facility around Europe depending on the user network provider.

Samsung i560 – Messaging & Applications

The Samsung i560 comes with all the usual messaging services that we come expect from a mobile phone these days which include; SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging), emailing and predictive texting but now with the addition of EMS (enhanced messaging). The email service will provide the user with being able to stay in contact and up to speed with the workload even whilst away from the office or home.

The Samsung i560 comes with Java embedded games allowing the user to keep them self amused and occupied and keeping boredom at bay. The user does have the option to download more games if they so wish suiting more to their own individual gaming taste.

The i560 comes with a fantastic selection of applications that can and will help with the user with everyday tasks of life making life less complex, just how we like it. Some of the applications include; a Document viewer, GPS navigation, converter, alarm, calculator and to do list these are naming just a small selection of what the Samsung i560 offers its consumers.

The Samsung i560 is a neatly compact trendy looking mobile phone that will make anyone look cool using it. It has most things to offer that most customers will be looking for in a mobile phone. The camera isn’t quite as good as the Samsung G600 or the Samsung U900 Soul but it is still a pretty decent camera and does what is expected from it. Overall the Samsung i560 is a nice cool mobile and comes from the family range of ‘I’ phones which include the Samsung i550 and Samsung i200.
