Sony Ericsson Kurara review
Speculations are rife that Sony Ericsson is planning to bring in the successor of Satio. If certain sources over the internet are to be believed, the super slick images of the mobile phones state that this handset is going to be the next "big thing" in the world of mobile telephony. The rumoured name of the mobile phone is the Sony Ericsson Vivaz and according to the leaked images, the device will be featuring an HD video camera with 720p recording. It could cause a real threat to the market of Samsung Omnia HD i8910. Seems like the Vivaz will be more compact than its predecessor, with smaller touch screen and enhanced battery life. It will run on Symbian S60 like Satio and recently announced Nokia 5235 Comes With Music. So far, there were several unannounced phones that generated lots of curiosity among the mobile phone enthusiasts, but the kind of response Sony Ericsson Kurara got, is simply exceptional. People are eagerly waiting for the official announcement of the handset. It is to be seen how Sony Ericsson performs with the high resolution video recorder, its performance with low resolution video recording is not that satisfactory.
Sony Ericsson Vivaz Review – Design and Display
Here comes an extremely gorgeous looking mobile phone from the house of Sony Ericsson. Though the touch screen display of the phone is smaller than Satio, but it is still large enough to enjoy high-end videos and images. The display of the phone features 3.2 inches TFT touch screen with 16 million colours and 360 x 640 pixels of resolution. When the display screen is not running with the backlight, it appears like a black glass and its combination with the gray body simply looks amazing. On top of the touch screen, one can find the logo of Sony Ericsson and the major functional keys are featured at the bottom of the screen. These keys are call key, end key and menu selection key. On the right side of the phone, there other essential functional keys like the camera snapper, zooming adjustment keys, etc. The camera lens is placed on the back of the phone while the charger point of the phone is at the down-bottom portion.
Sony Ericsson Kurara – Network and Connectivity
Sony Ericsson Kurara supports both 2G and 3G connectivity at equal ease. As the device supports 3G, it will provide faster internet access and browsing experience for the users. In addition to 3G, high- speed internet connectivity is ensured with Wi Fi, EDGE and GPRS as well. It features Class 10 GPRS with 32 to 48 kbps speed and Class 10 EDGE with 236.8 kbps. Sony Ericsson Vivaz supports GSM 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 and HSDPA 900/ 2100. It facilitates both USB data transfer and wire less data transfer facilities with microUSB v2.0 and Bluetooth® v2.1 respectively.

The Kurara / Vivaz is a Sony Ericsson mobile phone and that increases its expectation in the field of music. Music aspects of the phone are expected to be impressive as well. The music player can play different types of music files such as MP3, WMA, WAV, RA, AAC and M4A. Users can also listen to FM radio as the device will bring in Stereo FM radio with RDS. After shooting excellent videos, the users can view on excellent media player. The media player can play diverse files such as WMV, RV, MP4 and 3GP.
