Sony Ericsson Naite Video Review Sony Ericsson Naite Deals (14)The Sony Ericsson NAITE, pronounced “nighty”, is the Eco Friendly mobile that will have Save the Planet subscribers drooling. This is one the first devices from the Green Heart programme, along with the Sony Ericsson C901. The Green Heart programme is committed to reducing packaging, using recycled plastics, waterborne paints which lower the exposure to Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and an in-phone manual instead of paper manuals. Thus saving on paper wastage. The Sony Ericsson NAITE includes an Ecomate application which will help users make greener choices in their everyday life and Carbon Footprint Calculator that shows the user how much CO2 you could be using by walking instead of taking the car. Shame it does not have an application to show you how to walk 3 miles without getting wet in UK climate or mugged. With the NAITE, Sony Ericsson is showing its ongoing commitment to leading the field on environmental sustainability. But cleverly Sony Ericsson has managed not to compromise on product design, functionality or features. Saying this thought the Sony Ericsson NAITE is not the most exciting device by any means as it only has a 2.2” 240 x 320 pixel display, a 2 megapixel camera, an FM radio, stereo Bluetooth® and 3.5G data. As with most other mobiles Sony has replaced the Memory Stick Micro expansion for the microSD™ card. The design of the handset is very typical, going for the understated look. The NAITE is also lightweight for a 3.5G device at just 84 grams. The phone casing is made from a minimum of 50% recycled plastic and includes an optimized display light sensor that uses less energy. The NAITE is available in Vapor Silver or Ginger Red. The charger has a low power consumption which will also save on energy. Other features include a web browser, email client, multimedia player and all the other features you would expect to find in a Sony Ericsson handset of this type. The Sony Ericcsson NAITE is made attractive to the business users due to its green credentials and sober design. The Sony Ericsson has 100mb memory and SanDisk microSD™ support. Sony have given the NAITE 13 hours 45 minutes, 4 hours 30 minutes. Standby time 600 hours, 583 hours, video call up to 2 hours 40 minutes.

Wallpapers, themes and bytes of free content also. Direct from your PC you can enter the Play Now Arena. The Play Now Arena offers a seamless experience between your mobile and the Web, music tracks can be downloaded to your phone or as DRM-free MP3 files to your PC. The Sony Ericsson Track Id is a music recognition feature which will identify tunes giving the name of the artist and song title. The Sony Ericsson NAITE has a store of more than 250 games, and when you are fed up of playing these you can download others. You can add fresh themes and wallpapers as often as you like and you will find a multitude of groovy, exciting and fab graphics on the Play Now Arena.
