Sony Ericsson R300i – Classic old school design

The Sony Ericsson R300i is a stunning radio featured mobile phone that exudes style and flair. The R300i is a solid bar design and comes in a choice of two colour casings which include an Antique Copper which predominantly black on the front and a light copper colour on the back and the Steel colour option is mainly silver on the front and black on the back of the handset. The heart of the Sony Ericsson R300i is it radio and sound features and comes the Sony Ericsson R series of phones which also include the SE R306i. The handset comprises a 1.8 inch TFT screen displaying up to 65K colours with 128 x 160 pixel resolutions making for nice, bright and colourful viewing. The handset is a neatly compact size with dimensions of 101mmx 46mm x 12mm and weighs a very light 75g making for a snug fit in the palm of the hand when making and receiving calls. The user can expect to have up to a whopping 9 hours of talk time and up to 410 hours of stand-by time.

Sony Ericsson R300i – Sound Features

The R300i has an integrated FM & AM radio stereo with radio RDS providing mobile music entertainment allowing the user to listen to their favourite radio stations and DJ’s while on the move. The handset has designated radio function keys providing ease when operating the radio feature. The audio enhancer key provides a level of music that user chooses to listen to. The user can also listen to their music with privacy by using the stereo headset provided, so there is no need to disturb anyone else. Other features include TrackID a Radio Recording facility so the user can record their favourite artists from the radio station and Loud Speaker for if the user chooses to share their music with others. The user can personalise and customise their Sony Ericsson R300i with their ring-tone and the R300i comes with a great selection of ring-tones which include polyphonic ring-tones with MP3 & AAC music tones. The built in internal memory of the Sony Ericsson R300i is 8 mega-bytes providing memory space for the users downloads and music files.

Sony Ericsson R300i – Camera & Imaging

The Sony Ericsson R300i has an integrated VGA camera feature with a view-finder display and dedicated camera menus. The user can take a quick spontaneous snap-shot and can then play around with their snaps with the Picture Editing tool and the share it with others with the Picture Viewer feature. The user can also have fun and enjoy the Picture Wallpaper tool along with the Wallpaper Animation function making for a fun element to their R300i.

Sony Ericsson R300i – Internet & Connectivity

The R300i operates on a WAP 2.0 internet browser with XHTML allowing the user to connect to the internet to catch up with all the latest news and information while being on the move. The user can connect their handset to other compatible devices by using the Bluetooth® and USB technologies. The R300i operates on a Tri-band network which covers GSM 900/1800/1900 providing the roaming facility to the user.

Sony Ericsson R300i – Messaging & Applications

The Sony Ericsson R300i has the usual messaging services that we have accustomed to which include; SMS, MMS (multi-media messaging) and Predictive text input. The R300i now has two great additions to these services which are SMS Long and a Sound Recorder which allows the user to record voice clips and send them to other compatible users with this facility.

The user can really benefit and enjoy the many application tools that are featured on the Sony Ericsson R300i.
