In the Mobile World Congress meeting, Sony Ericsson introduced two strikingly similar looking handsets, which are named as Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini Pro and Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 mini. The only difference between the two mobile phones is that XPERIA X10 Mini Pro is coming with full QWERTY keypad. The handset offers the superb combination of excellent touch screen features and the power of full QWERTY like Samsung B5310 CorbyPRO. The handset also brings in the Timescape application by the help of which you can combine your entire messages and social networks into one place. Therefore, making updates, sharing media and staying in touch become easier. The home screen widgets are customizable for the easy access of the users. Good mobile phonejust got this phone a week befor, after waiting for it since three months. Have to say the pricing in india is excellent just a grand more than xperia mini. the added keypad is a big positive. Have been a loyal SE customer with the k530i prior to this.
The positives of this phone are 1> fast, does not hang
2>a very very good display
3>a good cam
4>very good music quality... its even better than my old iPOD
5>the widjets available are awesome
7> very good accessibility
8> prior to this phone my opinion was that touchscreens are a technology that have not yet been perfected, this phone has altered my opinion
9>very good for email and internet surfing and taking notes.
10>very good qwerty keypad for those who are not fans of touch screens
The negatives:
Basically the options or the versatility is not so great as other SE phones. Altough it has a 5 Mp camera there is no vga mode hence there is no zoom. There is no direct option to store a number from the message. There is no seperate folder for inbox or sent messages, all classes of message are mottled into one diversified only by the sender or conversation.
Does not come with a voice recorder hence you have to download it from the market. you cant send/recieve contact information.
Basically it is less versatile than other SE phones but when you compare it to other phones in the market i still opine this one is better
Supposedly a big feature in this phone is that it functions on android. It is fast and does not hang, i ll give you that, but a major disadvantage is that you cannot run .jar files. This is a huge disadvantage because because preponderance of the best FREE apps are available on .jar.
