It seems that there is going to be huge competition in the market of high-end touch screen smart phones in 2010. Google brings in HTC Google Nexus One to directly compete with the Apple iPhone 3GS whereas HTC has also announced its answer in the form of the HTC Bravo. Yes, the rumour is hot in the market that the HTC Desire will see the light of the day in April 2010. The picture of this HTC phone has been leaked recently and the first impression is something like awe inspiring. It will be an Android based mobile phone that will bring the gigantic 3.7 inches AMOLED touch screen and 1GHz Snapdragon processor, which is similar to that of HTC HD2. Apart from the super hot touch screen display, the HD 720p video capture facility is another top-notch highlight. HTC has been contacted for the confirmation about Bravo, but they are not ready to divulge anything about it yet. Though HTC is not ready to comment on rumour or speculation, but they are also saying that they are excite d about their plans in 2010 and urging everyone to watch out for their next move. HTC have apparently planned the make mobile phones under four sections, which are Social; Performance; Design/Lifestyle; and Productivity. The Windows Mobile devices belong to the Productivity category, Bravo aims at targeting performance aspect.
The look of the HTC Bravo / HTC Desire
Looks like it can't get better than this. This super sexy touch screen beauty has everything in right proportion. Whether it is the screen size, the display, the body, the dimensions, etc. everything seems to be so perfect with the HTC Bravo. You can set the important applications right at the home screen as per your preference such as messages, mails, browser and calendar. Right at the bottom of the touch screen, there are three vital keys for quick access of home, menu and back. On top of the screen, the logo of HTC is placed. This super slim device has the dimensions of 112 x 56 x 11.7 mm, but its weight is yet not known. Though, it looks like it can easily slip into the pocket, so it will be quite convenient to use. Now, let's get into the technical details of the display. The 3.7 inches AMOLED capacitive screen will be featuring 16 million colours and a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. The other vital specifications of the display include multi-touch input method, proximity sensor for auto turn-off, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and optical trackball.
The memory of HTC Bravo / HTC Desire
Good support of memory is required in even the average set of mobile phones these days. This is because, the mobile phones are being used by people to enjoy comprehensive usage of the different applications such as video files, music files, gaming applications, etc. if the memory of the phone is short, then even the best of features can become useless. Bravo is a 3G device that works on HSPDA 900/ 2100. It is also supportive of the quad band GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Class 10 GPRS and EDGE ensure data accessibility at the speed of 32 - 48 kbps and 236.8 kbps respectively. Other prominent aspects of connectivity include the availability of Wi Fi, USB and Bluetooth®. All these features ensure fast connectivity features. Having Bluetooth® is not just beneficial to exchange files and applications to/from other compatible devices, but it also provides good benefits to enjoy wireless music listening experience and safe driving.
Entertainment options with the HTC Bravo / HTC Desire
When it comes to entertainment, the Bravo again seems to be very promising. It includes dedicated search keys by the help of which the users can look out for their favourite songs and videos. The mobile phone will combine the power of high-end audio and video playback features. Both the music and video player can play diverse files such as MP3, AAC+, WAV and WMA9 for music and MP4, H.263, H.264, WMV9 and DivX for videos. This is not all, the makers of the mobile phone have also considered the importance of social networks and therefore, it supports Facebook, Flickr, and Twitter applications.
HTC Bravo / HTC Desire – the camera
Complementing the other prominent features, Bravo also incorporates a good camera feature. It will be loaded with a 5 mega pixel camera that would click images with 2592 x 1944 pixels of resolution. The camera highlights are LED flash and auto focus that can click good images in bad light conditions as well. Video recording can be done at 1280x720 pixels. Therefore, the users can take good quality of still images and video shots and can share them with their friends and relatives. They can also upload the files on social networks and enjoy the better experience of sharing.
The HTC Desire will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor and Android OS, v2 (Eclair). Li-Ion 1400 mAh battery will power up this black stylish handset.
