nokia 6303
i've had mine for over 2 years..its almost indestructable, internet isn't amazing but facebook etc are pretty fast. it stores hundreds of messages, jokes mainly lol, the camera is reasonable with a flash. and the battery lasts for days with plenty of use, unlike these new android phones ..great phone at a good price

This has got to be the worst phone I have ever had. It is continually cutting out/jamming when receiving text messages which I subsequently lose and is seriously affecting my social life!! When I take the battery out to reset (there is no alternative way to do this that I have found) it does not always come back on again and I can be days without a phone. I have gone back to my supplier (O2)who are unwilling to fix/provide an alternative even though I have been a customer with them for over 15 years. Although the battery time is quite satisfactory and it's an easy phone to use I cannot rely on it to provide me with a consistent service and am extremely disappointed with it. I will not be renewing with O2 or buying another Nokia handset.

I have had this phone since March 2010 as didn't get on with my previous LG touchscreen phone.
I have given it 5 stars as it does what it says on the tin. It is very easy to use, the battery life is better than any previous phone i've had.
I think the sound quality is good when making calls and the camera takes fairly good photos for a camera phone.
To sum it up, useable and reliable.

I too have this background noise when the screen is lit. I bought the phone from Phones4u who sent the phone back three times to Anovo. three times it came back not repaired but hey with a software update on each occasion! After three attempts at failed repair they decided to replace the phone with a refurbished one. It had exactly the same problem and I suspect it was my original phone with some new stickers on it. Phones 4u then via their "customer service" offered to replace the phone again. After three weeks still nothing so I foolishly rang their helpline. More than £10 worth of calls later ( THEIR 0844 CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE CHARGES 40P/MINUTE !!! ) they agreed to repair the replacement and guess what it came back in the same state and yes another software update! That's four now. PHONES4U ARE USELESS as are ANOVO. I am seriosly out of pocket and still no phone. BEWARE

Looking at the reviews I see people moaning about not being able to use you tube and poor internet performance. Well you cant expect you tube on a £60-£70 phone &it wasnt designed for it. As for internet performance I would recommend downloading Opera mini 5 beta 2 - the latest version. I use this on Tesco mobile and its fast and superb. Also Monilink is excellent for banking. This is a no nonsense phone with Nokia maps,3.2 mp camera with autofocus &digital zoom,FM radio,a good converter, calculator &organiser etc. I paid £65 for this phone and I think its superb value for money.

I wasn’t expecting an i-phone when I bought the Nokia 6303, but I am disappointed with the internet capabilities.
I need to view live flight arrivals at London Heathrow Airport, and would also like to view ‘YouTube’.
It can barely download the flight arrivals page, i have to first enter the exact web address to get it, and take takes several minutes to download.
And viewing anything on the YouTube website is impossible. What is even more ridiculous is the fact the a bookmark icon is preinstalled onto the phone, but you still can’t view anything.
It just stops working.
I have increased the memory from 1Gb to max 4Gb but makes no difference.
I tried contacting Nokia’s premium rate helpline who after over an hour simply said that the webpage was too big for the phones capabilities, or that my airtime provider (T-mobile) was not delivering a fast enough broadband transmission to deliver it.
Offered no solution as how to increase the use of the extra 4Gb memory card installed.

I was dissapointed that the wallet function was not installed in the 6303. this was an useful feature in the old nokia I had, (6230i) where I could input confidential information and password protect it. Does anyone know if a similar feature is available in the 6303 that I somehow missed. As for the user manual, its too basic and does not guide you through the functions satisfactorily

Very Impressed With The Phone Overall, I Do Not Often Change Phones But When I Do, I Like To Research An Make Sure I Have Got The Right Phone For Me In The Price Range, Like Many People It Was Either The Sony Erricson C510 or This, The Nokia 6303 Classic. I Made My Choice And Im Very Happy With The Decision. The 3.5mm Headphone Jack Is A Much Appreciated Feature Not Always Available With Other Phones.
5 Stars - Great All Round Phone Given The Price Range =]

THE NOKIA 6303 IS THE PINNACLE OF PHONES! TRUST ME IVE HAD A LOT OF PHONES IN MY TIME. THE LAST TIME I HAD A NOKIA WAS THE 3310 WHEN THEY FIRST CAME OUT. SINCE THEN IVE ALWAY HAD SONY ERICCSONS AND NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD EVER GET ANOTHER NOKIA DUE TO THE POOR BATTERY PERFORMANCES. BUT THIS 6303 DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN IT TRULY IS A FANTASTIC MOBILE!! WITH ITS STAINLESS STEEL FULL BODY, NEAT STYLING 3.2MP CAMERA, ETC WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED FOR A PHONE? FORGET THE CHEAP PLASTIC MOBILES ON THE MARKET. THIS IS THE PHONE TO GET TRUST ME. AND NO I DONT WORK FOR NOKIA EITHER.

The web functionality is great, but it keeps telling me the phone memory is almost full - there's hardly anything in it as I only got it yesterday! Look and feel of the 6300 is way better.

My last 3 phones have been Nokia and I wanted a straightforward replacement with a better camera.
I've been using this for a couple of weeks now - nothing to complain about at all. It's a nicely designed, easy to use phone &I'm very pleased with it.

I have had this phone for nearly a month. It has not crashed as of yet. The key pad is large and easy to use. Battery last as long as it says, eg 7 hours talk time, 450 hrs standby. Music sounds very good. Easy to upload your own music and sounds for the phone. Nice sized screen. No problems with recieving calls, easy to hear other person. No problems with low signal. All in all a good little phone.

Disappointet...
I've had the Nokia 6303 classic for a week now. I have to say that the phone is disappointing.
Pros: - Very good battery life
Cons: - The battery cover is squicking
- The SAR-rate is 1,15
- The design the very cheap and plastic looking.
I switched back to my old Nokia 6300.

I bought this phone on Saturday just gone and I absolutely love it. It is small, light, easy to use and reliable. Love the nokia maps on it, though now I have to spend a bit more and get the GPS receiver.
All in all, the best phone I have had for a while, simple but getting fed up of all singing all dancing ones.

Further to my previous review of this phone, I have now found the 'converter' facility eventually though I was looking for something else entirely! I - sort of - tripped over it.
The Instruction Book which came with this phone is not worth the paper it is printed on i.e., almost totally useless. Fortunately, I have had Nokia phones for 14 years and it is only my knowledge of the brand which is remotely helpful.
A nice phone but I still prefer my old 6300.

Was looking very much to getting this phone and, generally, am pleased with it, but VERY disappointed that it does not have the 'Converter' which my previous 6300 has. I have therefore had to keep my 6300 just for use as a converter instead of passing it on to charity. Shame! Nice phone though.

This phone seems to be good in web facilities! Is this mobile also great in media options, it`s music voice? or should I go to nokia 5320 xprmus
