Samsung is on a roll! Quite recently the mobile manufacturing giant announced a new handset named as Samsung Gravity 2. The company is again in news as it has announced another highly promising mobile phone called the Samsung B3310. This phone is a side slider and look-wise it is not conventional. For some, the mobile phone might appear strange, but takers will find this look cute. The device can be availed in three different colours that are pink, blue and black. The colourful appearance will get your attention on the very first look and then you will notice the numeric keypad on the side and the side sliding QWERTY keyboard. Other recently released Samsung Handsets include the Samsung S3650 Corby and Samsung Galaxy Spica i5700.

Samsung B3310 boasts a TFT screen that shows 256,000 colours. The size of the screen is 2 inches and it features a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. On the front portion of the device, there are major control keys below the screen that includes the navigation button in the center and call key and end on either side. Right below the screen, the logo of Samsung is displayed. The mobile phone is to be slide on the right to let the QWERTY keyboard appear. The overall measurement of the device is 91mm x 54mm x 17mm. Like any other mobile phone, the device boasts diverse types of alerts such as downloadable polyphonic, vibration and MP3 ring tones.

Samsung announced about this handset in the month of August 2009 and it is expected to become available in the market within the same year only. The company so far have not disclosed about the price of the phone. The features of the mobile phone prove that it is aimed at certain niche market and it will meet up their requirements completely.
